Community Service

Whether it was church, scouting, community, schools, work, or personal, I have always tried to help others.

As an elder in my church I prayed for people and situations that needed God’s guidance.

In scouting, I was an assistant scout master. When my son became an Eagle Scout I retired. I was there as a father figure for boys who needed that. Scouting is where boys can grow into men!

My wife and I have over the years purchased coats and clothing for kids in need.
We have donated school supplies for kids who needed them.
We have sent cases of water to hurricane locations.
We have served as host parents for French students at Lindsey.

I have counseled youth needing an ear to listen and words of advice.
I have helped chaparone a bus load of middle school kids on an out of state trip. 😊
I have given many a second chance.
Compassion for others speaks to a person’s character.

Serve! show you care, to make your home a better place to live.
